Historically, racing games have been pretty straightforward.

Even though we typically have an assortment of modes, there's usually only one way to play. But that isn't the case with the new Need for Speed reboot.

Electronic Arts and Ghost games have released a trailer that shows off the "Five Ways to Play" in the upcoming open-world racing game. Here, we get a peek at Speed, Style, Build, Crew and Outlaw and in the process, we can feast our eyes on more excellent gameplay. If you combine this variety with the live-action storytelling (as highlighted in a Gamescom 2015 trailer ) and you've got what appears to be a unique racing experience.

Need for Speed will be ready to go on November 3, when it launches for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Here are EA's descriptions of the "Five Ways" and the video:

Speed: Pedal to the metal, high speeds, maximum adrenaline rush. Keep your nerve and never lift off the gas, the fearless always push the limits.

Style: Expression through driving, sliding the car into a corner sideways with ultimate precision. For some, style is all that matters.

Build: Take your car to the extreme through visual and performance modification. The constant need to improve and personalize. Craftsmen build, searching for perfection.

Crew: Ride together with your Crew and never hit the streets alone. Put your faith in others and the skill of close proximity chaos.

Outlaw: Messing with and escaping from the cops. Push the limits and live life on the edge as you crave the thrill of the chase.

So, they haven't changed a single thing.

Racing, drifting, customising, multiplayer and cops vs robbers.

They could have a different type of story with a constant chase…a bit like Taken. Start off and barely escape as someone is chasing you on a little 50cc scooter, moving up to different locations and vehicles as you pursue your escape.

The further you get away, the more of an opening scene you get to view to work out the puzzle of the story before finally making a tough decision at the end…to race or face.

Just an idea!

If it's not broken why did they skip a year and reboot it?

Besides the original most wanted was the best!! Just needed the customization from the underground series to make it unreal.
