Sure, it's a little odd that the new raid won't release with The Taken King.

Fans were a little annoyed, and worried they'd have to wait a while. But the good news is that the wait in question will be minimal.

The new Destiny expansion will boast the King's Fall raid, arguably the most anticipated element of the DLC. And while this raid won't be immediately available when The Taken King launches on September 15, Bungie's Luke Smith confirmed the date during Bungie's latest Twitch livestream (as cited by Twinfinite ): September 18. Just three days later.

The Taken King is a huge expansion that will deliver a brand new location (The Dreadnaught), among a slew of other things, and Bungie has said the $40 price tag is more than justified .

If you're jumping into Destiny late, you might want to consider that nifty PlayStation 4 bundle .
