The Elder Scrolls is an iconic role-playing franchise and you can bet Bethesda will return to it at some point.
But it won't be any time soon. For the time being, the developer is "100 percent focused" on their upcoming open-world RPG blockbuster, Fallout 4 .
Bethesda Vice President of Marketing Pete Hines told DualShockers that they won't be talking about the next Elder Scrolls adventure for a "very long time." Don't forget that The Elder Scrolls Online just recently launched for consoles, and the team still has a ways to go with Fallout 4 .
The source adds that the developer in question isn't especially big; they're only a hundred-plus strong and they're the same size they've been for some years. This is why they put all their weight behind one game. Hey, I'm down with that philosophy.
Fallout 4 should launch on November 10 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. And yes, you will be able to keep playing after completing it .
Typical release schedule. I'm a far bigger from of the Elder Scrolls but I was blown away by Fallout 3. Come to think of it I look forward to anything Bethesda touches.
Good Elders Scrolls VI can wait im in no hurry between Fallout 4 and Elders Scrolls Online Beethesda has enough to do
Elder scrolls online is terrible. It has no soul.
I can't believe they put the ok on that game.
MMO game mechanics(pay to play) are so antiquated its not even even funny. You play on you play them all. As soon as one of my younger cousins tried it you could see them become physically disappointed and say…"Oh…its one of those games."

Has no soul? Not sure how you came to that conclusion because it feels like I am playing an Elder Scrolls game.
I take it you didn't care for Skyrim?
I tried playing fallout 3, but I quickly became bored with it. I do love elder scrolls though.
yeah i'd like to say thats fair enough aye thats their big game atm an they would want to take the shine off fallout 4 for the elder scrolls VI that could wait another 1 or 2 years i think maybe i'm wrong on the time line there you guys can reply with ur ideas.

Yeah, I'm okay with that. Fallout 4 looks like it is going to be a blast and between that and everything else in between… Bethesda can just take their sweet time.
