That's an impressive sell-through number for an exclusive title.
Evolution Studios boss Paul Rustchynsky confirmed via Twitter that Driveclub has now hit 2 million units sold. He posted a picture of Sony's acknowledgement of the studio's accomplishment, too.
He also revealed that the 2 million number doesn't include the freebies sent out to PlayStation Plus members. The game hit the sales benchmark before the Plus version was released, so that's good to know. Since the game launched last year, it has gone through several improvement phases, which included multiple patches and updates. If you haven't tried it yet and you're a Plus member, you have no excuse!
The game is a good deal better than it was when we first reviewed it , which is a common occurrence these days. The question now is, what will Evolution do next? Keep expanding the game? Or work on something new? What would you like to see?

Driveclub is my go to racer indeed. Never a Playstation day without this in my rotation. Just a fun game. What they need to do next is add some more American cars. This game is mainly European as GT is mainly Japanese.

Now that I got a wheel for PS4 I'm all in, but don't have much time to race and am not great at racing. So Driveclub goes kinda easy on me and gives me a chance and I get to race in Japan or wherever. Awesome! They should just support it well now, instead of talking about Driveclub 2 already like Destiny.
That said, I still want a Burnout too. With in cockpit view.
Unrelated: The Order 1886 is going for $20 at Amazon today.
Should have been the original price….well maybe $10 more, but you get the point.
If the original price was $30 it'd have a higher score and nobody's brain would have fallen out of their head.

Funny thing is I told my brother back when the released that I will wait for it to go down to $20 and then I'll buy it.
I won't play it now but it will join the brand new in plastic games that I have at home, AC Unity and Dragon Age.
i'd certainly hope its better it was pritty average to start with and they've had alot of time to polish it up now so i'd hope so.
