The anticipated PlayStation 4 exclusive Everybody's Gone to the Rapture is almost here.
And to celebrate the August 11 launch date, developer The Chinese Room has revealed the moving launch trailer, which should intrigue you (if you aren't already).
They also remind us that they've recruited a top-tier cast for this project, including "some of the best TV, film and radio actors working in games in the UK." The list includes the likes of Merle Dandridge (Alyx Vance in Half-Life 2 and Marle in The Last Of Us ), so that's win right there. For more, visit the official website of Everybody's Gone to the Rapture , where you'll find much more content, including excerpts from journals and textbooks, interviews with the team, secret codes, and "emergency leaflets to help orientate you to the apocalypse."
Very excited to try this one.
I'm afraid there won't be enough interaction based on the previous game Dear Esther. Regardless of how good the story may or may not be, interaction is key to a video game.
I know they wanted to incorporate more player interaction but if that means anything beyond opening doors and touching objects, I don't know.
Already on the preorder for me 🙂
Glad to get the 20% off Plus discount on this, although I would have gladly paid the full $20.
