Hideo Kojima knew his partnership with Konami was on the rocks; perhaps he even knew it was over.

Not only did he know, but he might've hinted at the split in Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes , according to a new gameplay video.

Posted up by YouTuber TimeSplitters88, the footage shows the Deja Vu mission, where players assume the role of a MGS-era Snake and recreate iconic scenes from the original classic. You probably know this, but did you know about a potentially prophetic sub-mission where the player has to find logos for various MGS titles? Whenever the logos are found, they're expunged, which is basically a prediction of what was to come.

Konami had the Kojima Productions logo removed from all official art for any games in the series, remember? Yes, seems like the main man knew and he probably wasn't too pleased about it.
