Hey, guess what comes out today on the PlayStation Store?

It's the Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition , and it's a must for all die-hard action aficionados.

Capcom Game Director Hideaki Itsuno has tossed up a detailed post over at the PlayStation Blog , explaining the benefits of experimenting with Vergil (those Summoned Swords are awfully useful). As for Lady, it's all about maintaining the correct distance in battle to get the maximum firepower out of her weapons. Yes, this is a much-enhanced version when compared to the original.

If you missed out the first time, you should know that DMC4 totally rocked . And if this new launch trailer doesn't get your action juices flowing, then you're just not a big fan of the genre.

I sorta want to play this because it's the next DMC entry I need to finish, chronologically. I've played through 1-3.

You know what else came out? Potential Destiny killer Planetside 2 for PS4. =p

Planetside 2 on the PC is amazing. I loved DMC4 I think you would enjoy it for its combat alone. Make sure you play it in a hard mode or else you wont get as much out of it.

Because I know you are pretty good at these twitch action games 😛

I have this and batman sitting in the shelve and I can't decide which one to play first. Is funny how things change cause I wasnt happy when dmc4 first came out, with all the backtracking and playing with Dante for half the game but that's all been forgiven now by me and most fans.I still say there is no other character in any other action game that comes close to dmc4 Dante with his insanse variations in moves, styles and weapons.

Aaand…It's only available for digital download in the Western markets. If there is ever a time for me to buy imports, this would be it.

Yeah it was annoying to import and pay almost double the price because Capcom is too cheap to make the physical copy in the west.

What's wrong with digital? It all gets installed to the hard drive anyway, so might as well save the shelf space and get the digital version.

As an added bonus, you get the convenience of not having to swap out discs constantly every time you want to play something different. It's all at your fingertips! 🙂

Ummmm, the problem with digital is that when the PSN goes down, all D.D.'s get locked on your PS4. More lies that sony told at e3 2013.
