No idea if and when it's coming to the US but at least Euro gamers are happy.

Sony has announced a new PlayStation 4 bundle for European regions and it features a 1TB hard drive.

Called the "Ultimate Player Edition," this new model will be available in "select Europe and PAL territories" as of July 15, but no price was announced. Sony said to simply "check with your local retailer." This new model is also 10 percent lighter (weighing only 2.5 kg), uses 8 percent less energy, and the hard drive cover now has a matte finish.

We've been hearing rumors about such a PS4 model for a while now, but it's too bad we can't have it confirmed for North America. Maybe we won't have to wait too long…

A bit disappointed it didn't come with a price cut, but then again Sony don't need to do that to push units so good for them!

It would seem to me the 500GB will drop though with the 1TB taking its original spot and price.

But will it drop enough to defend the price of replacing the drive? That's not likely.

Also, my experience with the PS3 tells me that the second version of the console is overall better (durability, noise, design) than the first.

Sweet. It's time to upgrade!

Kidding

Anyway, the XO btw has been $329 at a local Walmart of mine for like over a month now.

If it gets call of duty b/c support, I'm game. That's pretty much the only reason I got a 360.

Intresting maybe it runs cooler because my Ps4 can heat up my house within two hours and yes i keep my ps4 clean.

lighter PS4? How many of us actually lift the thing up more than twice or three times a year?
