Well, as the biggest fireworks happened at the start of the week, and this poll has been up for a while, we just have to ask:

How many of you voted after seeing Sony's shocking press conference? Come on, fess up. 😉

We wanted to know what your expectations were heading into this E3 and if the results are accurate, the majority expected absolute fireworks. Amazingly enough, that's precisely what we got but again, how many of you really anticipated such surprising announcements? Of course, there were other great presentations during the show as well; Bethesda's, for example, stood out for many.

Looking back, what was your favorite moment of the show this year? Obviously, we can only list 9 in the poll (with an option for "something else") but we'll try to put in the highlights. Which will remain foremost in your mind for a long time?

If I loved FF7 as much as I loved FF8 then my choice would have been FF7 but I must say The Last Guardian was my favorite. The artistic style and this sense of peacefulness in an adventure is just…unparalleled.

I voted after watching the conference, but I didn't plan it that way.

Horizon and The Last Guardian stood out the most to me. Uncharted was awesome of course and I thought Yarni looked kind of cool.

I was surprised by the FFVII remake, but SE is still on my 'wait for reviews' list.

I've never played Fallout or Shenmue, so I don't have an opinion on them

I did indeed anticipate it – the potential of unveiling of both Mass Effect and Fallout alone was enough for me.
So everything on top of that were just a delicious bonus – and I just knew there would be *something*, so it had to be awesome.

I was certainly hoping for the best, but I doubt I would have accurately predicted anything more than 'The Last Guardian', had anyone asked me for specifics beforehand.
Even though I obviously knew nothing about 'Zero Dawn' beforehand', I think it surprised me the most. I enjoyed the 'Killzone' series a surprising amount, given my general distaste for first-person shooters, but 'Zero Dawn' looks like it could be something special.
That 'Firewatch' trailer really got me pumped, and I'm psyched about finding out what direction 'Hitman' is going. Wish we had seen something substantial of 'Until Dawn', though. That looks absolutely like my kind of game.

Not to be too partisan here, but I didn't care about Xbox One backwards compatibility for the simple reason that I still own my 360 and have yet to find enough reasons to own an Xbox One. I think it's great that they're getting it, and I admit I would love to have one PlayStation capable of playing all my discs (which I've always kept). But as long as Sony's competitors remain so comparatively inferior (to my eyes), I'll just as soon keep my old consoles. This is the first generation where I've owned only one modern console at this point.
