Ultra Street Fighter IV Scheduled To Hit PlayStation 4 On May 26

Time for more fighting goodness on PlayStation 4.

As announced over at the PlayStation Blog , the revamped Ultra Street Fighter IV lands on Sony's latest console on May 26.

It will go for only $24.99 and they're aiming for a simultaneous launch across North America and Europe. The team at Other Ocean Interactive is handling this upgraded port, so we hope it turns out well. We know all the characters, levels, and DLC available thus far will be included in the PS4 version, and they've eliminated some lingering input lag found in the PS3 version.

Street Fighter IV has undergone several transformations over the years. But if you're in the mood for something new, there's always the recently released Mortal Kombat X , which is great fun.

Is the PS4 online players mixed with PS3 players?
Maybe SFIV is big enough so it doesn't matter much, but I get concerned when online user bases get split to accommodate competing platforms. In this case, PS3 vs PS4.
This reduces the available pool of fighters to compete against for the respective platforms.

I also need a PS4 fight stick..

No mixed players on this. The players on the PS3 dwindled to almost nothing, sadly the online community is a lot more packed on the 360. Also, it would be unfair to play against PS3 players since they have removed the input lag.

I'm not concerned about the mixed players bit. USFIV is the only game I've kept my PS3 around for so it's really nice that on my birthday I can get it on the PS4 and retire my PS3.

And the inherent input lag in PS3 online is really annoying – especially since it's not there on the 360. Glad it won't carry over to the PS4. Can't wait for this!!

DUDES yes the input lag is a monstrosity!
I can't even practice offline on it to keep consistent with my play on PC + Xbox360.

My PS3-PC-360 fightstick works with PS4 for 10 minutes each reset. Hopefully new firmware gets released to make it proper. The PCB mod for it is called 'PS360+' by Akishop.

Day one purchase, I want a decent Fighter for the PS4 ans seeing as Tekken Seven may be a long way off I am more than happy to settle for this. I won't be buying Street Fighter V it's initial version anyway.

I am not a fan of these ports but atleast this one is priced fairly for what it is. Not sure whether i want to purchase this game a fourth time even though my PS4 is in dire need of a decent beat em' up which has been lacking for the most part.

Yooooo been waiting for this release date! Same month as FFX-X/2 HD PS4.

Already listed my USF4 for sale. Wish we could still play with my PC friends. That's a real bummer cos' I'll only be only on PS4 once I know I can get my current stick fully PS4 functional.
