I know what you're thinking right now: "Gee, I wonder how Mass Effect 4 is progressing over at BioWare…?"
If you are, you should be following along with some of the developers. As an example of their updates, check out this summary .
First, Senior Development Director Chris Wynn says the "amount of detail on the characters is insane." Then, a Senior Creative Director going by the name Preston Watamaniuk said on Twitter said the team has started to "overcome complicated design issues." His cohort, Jay Watamaniuk says a "great deal of the game's story" has already been written. Oh, and Wynn confirmed that the Frostbite engine is "doing just fine" when running this game.
Mass Effect 4 hasn't been officially revealed just yet; i.e., we don't have a finalized title or release date. But Michael Pachter and Co. believe this hugely anticipated title (along with Mirror's Edge 2 ) will launch before April 2016 .

well atleast theres a release window or time scope there that you can actually put ur head around
Well, it doesn't take a genius to make that prediction. The date coincides with EA's quarter/year end.
These routine use of twitter and other social media to provide "updates" on games has become tired. After all of the delays this generation has already seen, why not just wait to reveal the game when it's ready and the developer is truly confident of a release date.
Am I going to play the new Mass Effect? Definitely, but I could care less until the EA decides to actually show me the game. The worst part is EA has been boasting about Mass Effect 4 since Mass Effect 3 released with nothing to show for it.

Simple, building up hype helps sales.
All I want to know is: Will it be another Call of duty clone or an actual action RPG??
Genuinely curious to see what they do next with this series.
And released before April 2016??? Pachter is nuts.
