That didn't take long.
While the official unveiling is set for April 26, we got game details less than 24 hours after Call of Duty: Black Ops III was announced .
Charlie Intel found a lot of info in the website's source code, so now we've got details concerning story, modes, and intended platforms. In regards to the latter, the description only includes PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC; it's currently unknown as to whether or not Black Ops III comes to PS3 and Xbox 360. It probably should given the massive userbases but you never know.
The new effort is set in a "dark, twisted future where a new breed of Black Ops soldier emerges and the lines are blurred between our own humanity and the technology we created to stay ahead, in a world where cutting-edge military robotics define warfare." That sounds intriguing, doesn't it? As for modes, there will be Campaign, Multiplayer, and Zombies (no surprises there), and obviously, the focal point will be multiplayer.
They're also saying that BOIII will be the "deepest and most ambitious Call of Duty ever," which sounds very much like what Activision said about Advanced Warfare . Well, if it's only for the new consoles and PC, maybe it really will be special…
