Yeah, I know what you're thinking: How many copies would it have shipped without that Final Fantasy XV demo?

It's an irrelevant question, anyway; what matters is the number: According to Siliconera citing Square Enix's Japanese Twitter account , Final Fantasy Type-0 HD has now shipped over 1 million copies worldwide.

There's no knowing how many copies sold in Japan as opposed to here in the US, but it could be similar. This is a much larger territory but Japanese gamers still love FF. As for me, I was only mildly impressed with Final Fantasy Type-0 HD , which I found to be flawed yet entertaining. As for the FFXV demo, I don't really care…what did you think of it?

And would you like to see another FF in the Type-0 vein?

Meh I was hoping for some SeeD like action in Type O but it turned out to just be a set of missions with very limited character talents. There's a story but I don't think it's worth the trouble of the missions which are more or less repetitious affairs you'd expect from a low budget developer's game.

Haven't finished the FFXV demo yet, I guess it isn't that interesting.

I gotta stop buying games with Final Fantasy in the name just because I figure they will be at least decent, even THAT is starting to not be true.

I give up on SE a very long time ago. so with a game that is announce or that has came out. I would probably pick it up when its on the ON SALE bin or probably not pick it up at all. depending on if it interest me or not. and so far nothing from SE is interesting

I bought it. It's not so great. The blurring that goes with the turning of the camera is nauseating. I'd probably enjoy it more without that effect. I'm sure it made more sense on a small vita screen, but on a big screen HDTV, it's sickening. It's not even just movement blur. They literally blur all images when rotating the screen.

I can see FFXV being good once it opens up to more variety in the main title. But the demo wasn't very exciting. It has the vacant running around of sandbox games, and the demo only had a small handful of enemies. I got bored with it really quickly.

the game should be selling on its own merit SE other wise people are naturally gunna question the games quality and they think you need to through the FFXV demo in just so can sell the game

happy gaming

Have looked at just getting the demo on ebay – but not paying the prices being asked for it on there (£25 for a demo – no thanks!). Have watched a couple of videos on youtube instead and it looks like it could turn out to be a good game.
Not interested in Type-0 after watching the videos and reading reviews, just doesn't seem that great.

My friend that owns a PS4 bought it for both, but feels the demo was the only part of the deal worth the money. I watched him play the game and can't say it looked mind-blowing, but I did go through the XV demo and… well… I'd probably get Type-O for the demo too.
