That's probably not a concern for the upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive Bloodborne , though. Well, depending on your perspective.
As most Dark Souls fans will tell you, those games will run you at least 60 hours, and probably much longer if you intend to see and do everything. As for From Software's highly anticipated action/RPG, the latest rumor is that it's approximately 40-45 hours in length, not counting extra stuff. This estimate comes from YouTuber Open World Games, who has published a review of the game already (as cited by Gamespresso ).
It sounds perfectly plausible but I wonder if some people were hoping for an even bigger number. I can't see how, though; 40-45 hours just to complete a game is pretty damn long, isn't it? I mean, how can you not be satisfied with that? Especially when you know the extra stuff could potentially double that estimate.

I have over 200 hours in each entry of DS {counting Demons Souls too) so this is good news. I just get caught up in the dark, soothing and inviting atmosphere that I just keep playing and playing.

Feedback has been strong. Eurogamer wrote a positive editorial about their hands on time with the game.

btw, on a Sony exclusive related note: The new Drive Club patch is significant.
They redid the game's drift handling. The cars so far feel far less grippy after you break traction. I can blow through most Drift challenges and get max points now. Drifting is more generic now but it is easier and funner for the lesser die hards.
They added replays. Looks amazing.
They added visual mirages.

I looked at my Mordor save file and it was just over 41 hours so that's good for me at least.
I finished both DeS and DaS at 40+ hours too…
And this doesn't include the Chalice Dungeons and New Game Plus..

well thats value for money if ever there was in a game these days for the sake of belly acing about length and so on and so forth i get it here you go, thats what i really thin about when buying games neccisarily but its not the be all and end all atleast in my mind
