Remember Me was one of those games that boasted an excellent concept but simply fell short from a mechanical perspective.

Would you like to see developer Dontnod Entertainment try again?

Well, creative director Jean-Maxime Morris just told Siliconera that in fact, the team has already written the story for a sequel:

"We know what we would do for Remember Me 2. The main story has been written. We know what we would add to the recipe. We know what we would fix. It's a game that's ready to be made, but that decision is Capcom's to make."

The original game received very mixed reviews and Dontnod later said the ambitious title was "misunderstood." Well, it's up to Capcom now: Should they green-light a sequel? And if so, what precisely do you want the designers to fix?

I say they really need to focus on the gameplay this time around; the platforming and combat just didn't live up to expectations in my book.

I loved the concept and setting of this game more than the game itself, but I would love to see another game set in this universe. I hope it works out.

I still listen to the soundtrack but this game was a great concept that was poorly executed. I hope they work things out with the sequel.

I think Remember Me suffered in the same way The Order 1886 did. People complaining it was linear and not being able to embrace a structured action game. I really enjoyed Remember Me, it had a brilliant setting, decent story, unique memory editing sequences and fun combat. I liked it a lot and would certainly be down for a sequel.

Fix the fighting/combat mechanic and open it up a bit so we have more than one way to advance each chapter and you got yourself a deal. There was a lot there to love.

Loved the game. The concept was great, the music perfect for the games theme and the combat was good. Mind you I found some of the combat lengthy to the point I just wanted it to be over with.

What was lacking for me was the manipulation of memory lines. Not enough of it to my thinking. Great idea but they did not use it except a few times.

Hope they get the green light to develop the sequel.

Keep playing!
