You really can't have a Mortal Kombat game without Johnny Cage, in my opinion.

The latest character for the upcoming Mortal Kombat X has been (accidentally) revealed, and it's one of the original classic fighters.

Johnny Cage is joining his daughter, Cassie Cage, according to NetherRealm Studios senior producer Adam Urbano. He confirmed Johnny's existence in a recent Game Crate interview (which has since been removed). Urbano says Johnny is definitely playable and hints that Kenshi, another rumored fighter for the game, is also headed our way:

"You'll get to play as Johnny Cage, but we're also showing Cassie Cage, who is the daughter of Sonya and Johnny. You'll get a chance to see Kenshi and a chance to see a couple more."

Mortal Kombat X launches on April 14 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC, Johnny Cage thankfully included.
