It's okay to admit it.
Personally, I have little interest in either title in question but there was a time when I would've paid a pretty penny to play the new Final Fantasy early.
Sure, it's only a few hours but if you're a fan, you're a fan. I no longer care much about the franchise; I see nothing in Final Fantasy XV that really appeals to me and the gameplay in Type-0 isn't my thing. I'm just wondering about gamers out there who are really excited for FFXV. If they don't care about Type-0 , will they still shell out the $60 just to play a bit of FFXV?
Some say it'd be silly; $60 for two hours is just plain crazy, right? Well, not so fast. I'm almost certain I paid $50 for Dragon Quest VIII just because I knew it came with a playable Final Fantasy XII demo. Of course, I didn't realize at the time how much I'd love DQVIII; I just wanted to play FFXII well before release. In those days, it was extremely rare, if you'll remember. Betas and demos and all that are relatively recent.
So, if I still had faith in the series, I might've done the same with Type-0 . Just sayin'. In case you'd forgotten, the game arrives on March 17.
