Who said gamers don't read?

This one may be well worth reading. Veteran comic book writer Marv Wolfman has confirmed via Facebook (as spotted by GameSpot ) that he'll be penning a novel based on the hotly anticipated Batman: Arkham Knight .

Wolfman has been keeping this under wraps for some time and now he can finally come clean:

"Well, I can finally tell folk what I've been working on these past months in total secrecy, even from my dog. I wrote the official novelization for Arkham Knight, based on the upcoming video game, and had a ball doing it."

He added that the story is "highly emotional" and he's "exceedingly happy with the results." He also says both the book and game will come out in July, which may confuse some gamers, as Rocksteady's effort is due out in June. But GameSpot confirmed with publisher Warner Bros. that in fact, the game is indeed still set for June.

Gonna play and read?

A game with a novelization is like giving someone an awesome birthday cake and then giving them the ingredients to make it as a birthday present.

Still, Wolfman's work on 'Crisis' is legendary. It may be worth a pick up.
