Looks like Dragon's Dogma is going F2P and online.

According to Siliconera citing Japanese publication Famitsu, Capcom is planning an all-online iteration of the popular Dragon's Dogma title that launched in 2012 and went on to sell over 1.3 million copies.

The new effort is called Dragon's Dogma Online and it's in the works for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC. It's going to embrace the controversial free-to-play model and it's tentatively scheduled to launch in Japan some time next year. And unfortunately, as Capcom told Eurogamer , there are currently no plans to bring DDO west.

Supposedly, the game will allow four players to team up and go exploring, although we hear Capcom is working on adding missions that allow up to eight players. And of course, as you might expect, the experience will be set in a big open-world structure. It could be worth checking out…if only it were coming to North America.

Free-to-Play AKA pay-2-win

There are several F2P games that aren't really pay to win (not to mention a couple P2P games that want to drain you of all possible cash anyways). Generally games that have a cash shop with nothing but vanity items.

Isn't the only game that's literally not P2W, Path of Exile?

What in the hell are you thinking Capcom!? Dragons Dogma was a great game! You had a successful new IP that your just going to throw away and make it into a MMO pay to win game?! No one asked for this and no one wants this Capcom. Are you trying to compete with Square for most dumbass, clueless, and out of touch developers award?
