MMORPG fans have been waiting anxiously for The Elder Scrolls Online on consoles.
And for a minute there, it seemed like the wait would end in February. Unfortunately, Bethesda isn't willing to play ball just yet.
Massively stumbled upon a February 24, 2015 date for the anticipated title but not long afterward, Bethesda PR and marketing boss Pete Hines told GameSpot :
"We haven’t announced a release date. Beyond that, I can't comment as we don't comment on rumors and speculation."
Most retailers only have a placeholder date for the game (as late as December 31, 2015) but we're hoping it shows up relatively soon. The console iterations were originally supposed to release back in April 2014 but Bethesda announced a six-month delay. Obviously, it has been longer than six months now, so…

Gettin' a major Lost Odyssey on PS3 vibe here…
Wasn't the release on the PC met with really bad reviews?
I'm gonna guess they are taking the extra time to regroup and make changes that will give console players a better experience.
Not interested in this right now. I haven't heard good things in regards to the PC version. I am thoroughly engrossed in FFXIVARR PS4! It's a toss up between Shadow of Mordor and FFXIVARR for my best PS4 game of its young life. So much to do and Ul'Dah, Limsa Lominsa and Gridania look fantastic. The story is good and keeps me wanting to go to the next main campaign mission. Raids are so fun however as a Gladiator if the healer doesn't do their job I can have trouble. Just got my chocobo and named him Razorwing. My son came up with the name. My son is playing this with me and just starting to understand it all. He runs around on the Razorwing is starting to attack level 5 enemies. He likes it when Razorwing finishes off the enemy with a nice kick. If you haven't tried FFXIVARR you are missing the #1 MMORPG of this young generation. I still cannot believe this is on the PS4! Glad to be a PS gamer with so many gaming options!
This game is dead in the water.
The only way this game can survive in the console world is either become a free to play or a $60.00 up front and you are done purchase. With that said, DLC and expansions can be offered for a price. I honestly believe this (and the critical reception) delayed the game.
There was going to be three copies running at my house until I saw the whole subscription model. I (as will my sons) will gladly pay for PS+ and various other expansions but no way will I pay for a game on a monthly basis.
after the PC reviews i have no interest in this on PS4 anymore i was keen but not any more
happy gaming
