Dragon Age is an experience worth expanding upon.

BioWare has released two new downloadable content packs for the recently released Dragon Age: Inquisition . The first is free and the other is a paid piece of premium DLC.

The free one is called Destruction and it offers "new paths to existing destinations." Wild creatures now roam the battlefield as the balance of nature is all out of whack. The simple act of traveling from one place to another just got a lot more complicated! The premium DLC is called the "Deluxe Upgrade," and it goes for $9.99. For that price, you get new armor, multi-class weapons, a new mount, and even the full digital soundtrack. Visit the game's website for the full detailed rundown.

Dragon Age: Inquisition is primed for plenty of end-of-year awards, wouldn't you say?

Thank you for the news.

–> For those that do not own the game like me… The game is running for $40 at Walmart. I will not be buying it now since my 10 month old PS4 is being serviced by Sony >_>

What went wrong with it

Auto-disc reject. The console keeps sending the disc back out.

It's all good though. I'm still under warranty and I have a two year Best Buy insurance.

I'm having trouble justifying more and more time put into the repetitive emptiness of this game and it saddens me each time i fire it up hoping for something to happen. Think I'm done with Bioware.

All the missions in the world are the same set over and over, then you do dictates on the War Board, none of it does anything to the story but have you choose a side with Templars or Mages.

I liked the way Dragon Age worked before where you went on a quest through a dramatic path and as it unfolded you had lots of cut scene drama with your friends and characters in the world.

This is a small cast of characters in a Skyrimized version of Thedas, it ends up not working because there's nothing to explore but empty space and the story drama is broken up for way too long to keep the kind of intense interest that Origins brought.

hey, have you tried moving away from the Hinterlands?
I've read from sources that the game is bloated with tons of filler. So basically don't take a completionist route with this one. Move on with the more important objectives once you feel compelled to do so, otherwise you're stuck doing boring errands.

Yeah I'm done but now they brought me back, the game continues to force you back through bloat doing little tasks to have any useful affect on the characters in your party and also to be strong enough to just do the story missions. I agree though, cutting off any ideas of completionism is good.

I rather wait for Inquisition GOTY edition to release which is worth all penny. DLCs are gimmicks and will become FOC inclusive in GOTY edition which cost at least a fraction cheaper than regular edition.

Bioware selling the DLC for £7.99 does make a mockery of the £10 pricing difference on the PSN store between the standard and deluxe editions.
