Forget Uncharted , Bloodborne , and The Order: 1886 .

The best part of the PlayStation Experience was the return of the classic King's Quest franchise. Yeah, you heard me.

Some of the most respected games in history, these adventures were filled with everything one could hope for, including great puzzles, a lot of humor, and a wonderfully engaging setting. The developers at The Odd Gentleman wanted to remain faithful to the original style and gameplay, as they explained over at the PlayStation Blog . The result is an all-new and "fully reimagined" King's Quest !

If you're old enough, there's no chance you watch this footage without a smile on your face. No chance whatsoever.

Yes! 🙂 Big smile indeed, Ben. I had Kings Quest, Space Quest, and Leisure Suit Larry on my Atari ST computer in high school, and loved them. I can't wait to revisit those memories again. 🙂

Wasn't around that time, nor have I seen anything related to this apparently legendary series. But this trailer. It truly works at making someone want to buy this game. It looks awesome and seems like a lot of fun just from what it shows.

I smiled indeed. I played (and finished) King's Quest I to IV (yes I'm old). Started King's Quest V but my PC could not handle the graphics at the time and got stuck on a well known bug of the game when extingishing fire monster with water. I loved the series, but I think the first four were the best. I wonder if they will merge the stories or do them one per old game.

Very cool!
I'm a huge fan of the old Sierra games! I was a bit more partial to the Quest for Glory series, but King's Quest is classic and amazing.
I hope they do it justice, though, and not make it too platform(y) etc.
The gameplay (if that is what it was) makes me a bit dubious, but I am still excited.
Is that supposed to be Graham, though? Not sure I like that. He looks more like Shaggy.
Finger's crossed.
