Go Behind The Scenes With The Music Of The Order: 1886

We've often said that music is one of the most critical and under-appreciated elements in gaming today.

But for those of you who fully acknowledge the amount of skill and dedication required to produce some of gaming's best scores, this behind-the-scenes orchestral video is for you.

It details the music in Ready at Dawn's upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive, The Order: 1886 . Two of the people who helped create this compelling soundtrack are Jason Graves ( Dead Space , Tomb Raider ) and Austin Wintory ( Journey ), who teamed up to generate "The Knight's Theme" and creative director Ru Weerasuriya says this "was the spark that kindled the sound that would define our world."

Graves scored the rest of the music in the game and it was recorded at the legendary Abbey Road. It's quite the accomplishment; you should check it out:

Love the Journey music. It is sublime. A good music score lifts a game to another level. The music in Nier still gives me goosebumps.

Looking forward to The Order. Need a good Sony exclusive to kick start the new year.
