Some love it, others say it's broken. Going into the week, and during the course of reading reviews, it seems our community was pretty well split on Evolution's latest effort.
While the majority of participants in our latest poll said they'd try Driveclub (even if they weren't sure about buying it), many more said they weren't interested at all. Then, there was a hefty sampling who said they were purchasing the game outright. Admittedly, I was a little wishy-washy in my review , as I said it looked great and played well, but felt a little light on the single-player content. And it doesn't help that the online portion is down.
This week, another big release: The anticipated horror thriller from Shinji Mikami: The Evil Within . So, are you getting it right out of the gate? Planning to read some reviews first? Or is the survival/horror genre just not your bag?

I've continued to hold off. The less of time I have, the least games I buy. I want to dedicate my free time to The Evil Within, and not because Driveclub doesn't look awesome but because…well…I can't play every game anymore.
From what I have seen, it looks awesome. I watched a friend play it for a bit before I headed home. In the graphics department, its next gen no doubt about that.

For me generally clasic racers are not being worth my money. They get boring so fast for me.
I would like new Burnout (Paradise style:)

I'm a wuss when it comes to horror games. Couldn't play Fatal Frame (any of it) without my brother. I have no doubt the game will be good though.

I have The Crew pre-ordered and I'll play the Driveclub PS+ demo but after all of this that surrounds the game, they're gonna have to do some major miracles to get me to buy it outright.
As for Evil Within, a friend of mine is getting it so I may borrow it after he finishes it. Survival horror peaked for me with D for the Sega Saturn. Nothing else hit it quite like that. Now the games are less horror than just shock value (throwing things at the screen and loud sound effects). Hopefully Silent Hills will take it back to where it should be.
i've had beta codes for the Crew 3 times (2x on PC and once on PS4) and I've never gotten it to work. It and Mario Kart 8 are the only racing games i have enough interest in to want to play.
yeah thats the reaction i got from my mates before i even got to it 2 hate it 1 likes and i haven't even got a chance myself yet so i have no idea what i'm going to think atm
