Rocksteady is back behind the Batman wheel and they have super high aspirations.
Marketing Manager Guy Perkins told IGN that the team's goal was to create the "ultimate Batman simulator:"
"If people walk away thinking this is the ultimate Batman simulator, then our job is complete. We gave them Gotham City, we gave them Batman at the height of his powers, and we gave them the Batmobile. I think those three elements come together to make a great game. If people go away feeling like it was awesome, we've done a good job."
And yes, Arkham Knight is supposed to be five times bigger than Arkham City . Don't forget that last year's Origins was created by a different studio (Warner Bros. Montreal). As for the game's release date, it's now slated to arrive in June 2015 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, after being delayed. It was originally supposed to launch this holiday season but clearly, Rocksteady needs more time.
