Here's a Kickstarter project worth backing.

Dubbed a "mythology-building" action/RPG, Moon Hunters is coming to the PlayStation 4 and Vita in 2015. As revealed over at the PlayStation Blog , the old-school-type game is set in a "fantastical ancient Mesopotamia."

Players will assume the role of a hero who's trying to figure out what happened to the Moon. It has gone missing, as…uh…moons tend to do. You will make decisions that ultimately determine your reputation, and your choices will also impact how you're remembered in legend. If you do exceedingly well, you might be remembered as a constellation in the night sky, which will be visible in all future play-throughs, by the way.

The developers admit the game is only 1-3 hours long, but they're using a randomly generated world, so playing it multiple times makes sense. Plus, you have to do that to unlock all the character classes, tribes, and biomes. The game even supports up to four players at once, so multiplayer is a definite option.

Looks like fun!

If it has a great story, game play, control and sound I am in. Graphics aren't everything these days. We still get Shadow of Mordor, DA:I, ISS and Destiny to name just a few. If there is something this industry has a lot of it's diversity. Playstation offers the best diversity with the most playing options in the industry.

Well, I can play games which have inferior graphics… but this is appalling even by indie standards, it's something I'd expect on the Commodore 64… But in 2014/2015 can you really expect me to believe this a game of this mediocrity is appearing on the Playstation 4… Sorry, I just can't buy it – The recent focus of indie games and lack of AAA titles this year is why I haven't bought a PS4 yet in general…. I will buy one in 2015 for The Phantom Pain and Final Fantasy: Type-0 HD (Which has had is presentation boosted through the conversion) But I can't help but sigh when I see titles like this appearing on a daily basis.

I think it looks good from an artistic standpoint. Plus you can't judge it until you see the game in full motion, the animations are what make these games.

Scott Pilgrim versus the world looks outdated in screens but the animations in that game are really excellent and fluid.

The gameplay sounds interesting enough that I might pick it up if its cheap, but a 3 hours game is not worth more than 5 bucks in my opinion.
