According to VGChartz , the PlayStation 4 leads the next-gen race by a healthy margin. In fact, in looking at the lifetime sales, it has sold twice as many units as Microsoft's Xbox One.

Those might be just about right, as Sony recently confirmed that the PS4 had indeed passed the 10 million mark worldwide. It's also important to note that the Wii U launched a year before the PS4 and Xbox One, so that 7 million+ number is that much less impressive. As for monthly sales, the PS4 tops the list at 583,861, while the Xbox One is at 239,808 and the Wii U is at 214,210.
