Driveclub is only a few weeks away and developer Evolution Studios hasn't been shy with the details.
Game Director Paul Rustchynsky has been active on Twitter , where he has addressed numerous fan questions and offered more info on the anticipated PlayStation 4 exclusive.
As an example, the average load time will be about ten seconds, and he estimated that the shortest would be about five seconds, while the longest would be around fifteen. That's not bad at all, unless you've got the attention span of a fruit fly. Rustchynsky also explained why work needs to begin on downloadable content before the release of the game:
"You have to plan in advance as you need to secure car licenses too, which can take many months on top of production.
Because asset production necessarily halts at Beta for GM content, which allows us to make a start on new post-release cars."
Oh, and there's a chance hybrid rides might be included in some of that upcoming DLC. yeah, well, if they are, they'd better be high-line rides; got no interest in piloting a lame-ass Prius around.
