Ready for another fright-fest from Capcom?
Rumors persisted that the publisher would release a follow-up effort to Resident Evil Revelations , and that has proven true. During Sony's pre-TGS PlayStation press conference in Japan, Capcom announced Resident Evil Revelations 2 , coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
It's being created by the same team that handled the original title, which first landed on the Nintendo 3DS before high-def versions hit the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U and PC. For the record, Revelations 2 is not coming to any Nintendo platform. Also, it's important to note that previous protagonists Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield won't be returning; franchise fans can expect new main characters and a new setting.
Resident Evil Revelations was pretty darn good for the PS3, so we can't wait to try the new one!
