Q.U.B.E. Sequel Set For PS4, Will Use Project Morpheus

This ought to be quite the mind-bending puzzle experience in VR.

As revealed over at the PlayStation Blog , Q.U.B.E. 2 is coming to the PlayStation 4 and it will support Sony's virtual reality initiative, Project Morpheus.

Developer Toxic Games will deliver this sequel to the first-person puzzle title; the team is currently wrapping up the Director's Cut of the original game, which will hit the PS3 and PS4 before 2014 is over. The new effort will refine the core mechanics of the first game, and it'll offer a "tightly woven narrative." The game will utilize the popular Unreal Engine 4 and as for Project Morpheus, the designers are big fans:

"We’ve already taken the hardware for a spin and it’s shaping up to be something fantastic so we can’t wait to get our hands (or gloves?) on a kit to begin developing for it!"

Q.U.B.E. was an acclaimed puzzler that had you manipulating colored cubes in various environments. If you haven't tried it, maybe now's the time. Either that, or you can just wait on the sequel, which might be due out some time next year.
