Horror aficionados are having a run of good luck lately.
We've already seen great titles like Outlast and Lone Survivor , and fans are looking forward to The Evil Within , which is now set for October.
Time to add another one to the list, even though it's currently vague: As reported by GameSpot , Sony has filed a trademark for a new game called A Million Ways To Die . Interestingly, the company filed the application with the US Patent & Trademark Office on August 6, a mere six days before Sony's Gamescom briefing.
And Sony also released a new Gamescom teaser trailer for a mysterious new title that will supposedly "reinvent" the horror genre. Well, these two bits of news just have to be connected right? The 17-second video doesn't shows us much but it's clearly quite nasty.
I'm actually excited to see what they have in this game that reinvents the horror genre
What's going on with the horror genre these days, it's been making a pretty big comeback.
It's too bad that the grand father of survival horror has gone action oriented now. All this news of the RE remake have made me get all nostalgic about the original RE games. That style of gameplay was so amazing, it felt so great to play.
Oh man oh man oh man.
thats it this generation well be known as the horror generation or so it seems… last generation was all about shooters next generation will be all about RPGs.
looking forward to seeing what this is, ive been craving a new well done horror game for YEARS!
heres hoping for once something actually lives up to the hype for a change………
This & The Evil Within bringing horror back. Hell yeah!!
They better announce some real great stuff, with game play too. Quantum Break looks better than everything PS4 has got.
Just watched Quantum Break gameplay @ Gamescom…in a word…wow
