Ubisoft recently wrapped up the closed beta for The Crew on PC.

For a while now, gamers have been asking the same question: Will this beta test come to consoles? Thus far, there has been no evidence that this will happen.

However, it's not out of the question: According to what creative director Julian Gerighty said on the Ubisoft blog , the idea of a console beta is "still under discussion." Well, at least it's a possibility, right? Gerighty added that he'd like to see at least another beta on PC and "maybe on some of the consoles," so perhaps PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners have reason to be hopeful.

The Crew is scheduled to launch on November 11 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Please do. Any game with a big multiplayer component should have one. Plus game looks incredible concept wise.

great, since destiny had one of the biggest alpha/betas, now EVERYONE is gonna jump on that bandwagon for the sake of just previewing the game and calling it a "beta" for the masses.

the question is will they really treat it like a beta and actually listen to players or just do it for fun.

because the beta (i.e glorified demo as all those betas i played show ppl actually playing the game and not trying to break/test it to report problems they find which is how a REAL beta test is supposed to be done) just stared with Destiny? news to me

Until you learn its not a real MMO and that trailer you see with the zoomed out map showing players all playing in different parts of the Us is fake…. the game only allows 8 players in your "state/city at the same time then hen you cross the border into another state all the players that were in the state you left disappear and your put into a next session with completely different players in that state….. not really an mmo.

Im like how will i have a cross country race with a friend if as soon as we cross a state line we're both tossed into completely different sessions in the new state we entered?

After playing the PC beta, I have since cancelled my preorder. The game is fine when you first start out but for the most part, it plays pretty much just like another Need for Speed game. Nothing really there that makes the game stand out that much from other racers that have been done already. Even the map, which is nice to drive from one coast to another, is a disappointment as it's not really open world. You generally only have one main road to and from cities, and very little in the way of side roads. The cars don't relly control that well either. Almost all of them drive like they weigh as much as a tank when you get them. Upgrading them later on may change that though. The multiplayer gameplay has it's moments, but the experience is easily shattered when you have people playing that don't know how to turn off their mics so everybody doesn't have to hear all the swearing, taunts, bad music, parents yelling, and whatever else is in the background. There is some enjoyment to be had, but just not enough to keep me interested in it. Shame as me and my gaming group all were looking forward to this title. As far as I know, none of us are getting it now. Hopefully the game will improve somewhat before launch. Havig said that, I'm sure there are those out there that will probably enjoy the game immensely
