That's a nice touch, isn't it?

Okay, so let's say you've already played Diablo III on either the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360, and now you plan to purchase the upcoming Ultimate Evil Edition for the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One.

What's going to happen to your save content? Do you have to start all over? Nope. According to Destructoid , the new edition will allow for cross-console importing of save files. In other words, by linking an Xbox Live gamertag or a PSN ID to a account, players can import their progress, regardless of platform.

Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition boasts the base game, the previously released Reaper of Souls expansion, and new Achievements and Trophies. The PlayStation 4 version will also feature exclusive content based on The Last Of Us and Shadow of the Colossus . The new Diablo III package will be ready to go on August 19.
