If you've got some time to kill this week, and you weren't in the California area to check out the show, you can always see it right here.

In celebration of the launch of The Last Of Us: Remastered for the PlayStation 4, Sony hosted a special, one-time-only stage performance at the Broad Stage in Santa Monica last night.

This performance included original actors Troy Baker Troy Baker (Joel), Ashley Johnson (Ellie), Merle Dandridge (Marlene), Hana Hayes (Sarah) and Annie Wersching (Tess), and it was directed by TLoU co-director Neil Druckmann. Here's the show in full, and bear in mind they're not acting out the entire plot of the game; they're performing selected scenes, all of which fans are sure to recognize.

It does not, however, include the epilogue. Guess you had to be there for that.

Man they are really really milking the success of this game.

I wouldn't call it milking. I mean, if you made something so revered, so beloved, so perfect and powerful, would you not celebrate it? Or would you not care and move on? I know if I made something like TLOU, I wouldn't just let it melt away into "that one really good game" I'd want it to be remembered.

Milking is re-re-releasing the same game 3 times. Ala Halo 1. We get it, it was a really good game. I loved it even. THATS milking.

Or maybe you're trolling in which case, I lose. lol

I hope to one day unleash something as great on the world, but I'd leave organizing a music tribute to fans.

….and for an HD re-release.
I like HD remasters and all, but aren't they supposed to sort of launch as appreciable asides and not with a full on marketing campaign? I can't tell you how many full screen web ads I've had to annoyingly close over the past few days.

I suppose I should just rationalize that Sony wants this game to be seen and felt by a lot of 360 converts.
That's fine I suppose. It just feels weird to us long time PS fans.

I'll be sure to grab the remaster when it undoubtedly falls in price to $20 come Christmas time sales.
