If you're planning to participate in the Destiny beta test, you should probably go in fully equipped.

The free companion app is now available on iTunes or Google Play, and it's completely free of charge. It gives you a 3D version of their character, and you can opt to change armor on the fly.

You can also monitor your inventory and check out our acquired loot, and the app will keep track of all the virtual world's lore. If you're too busy to read all the interesting text involving Destiny 's characters and locations, maybe you can check it out on your smartphone. Furthermore, the app lets you access forums, groups and private messaging so you can remain active in the growing community.

The Destiny beta kicks off tomorrow, July 17, for the PS4 and PS3, and will arrive on Xbox platforms next week (July 23). If you want in, just pre-order the game.

Never buy a Window's Tablet whole reason I wanted a tablet was for all these companion apps and none of them ever come to the Microsoft store. =S
Oh well I got it for cheap and came with the full office suite for free so won't complain too much.

Probably only a good place for MS games' apps.

Yeah Window's isn't really largely supported by App developers.

I don't know of many companies who have supported Windows apps.

I dunno, I only use it for texting. I'm anti app. Probly wouldn't work on my android anyway.

It is pretty cool. Bungie released it on Android for a day during the last day of the Alpha, I had a little play around with it, it was cool.

Updated my app today and they have made a few changes, which are awesome.

Hopefully this will be enough to satisfy my Destiny cravings during the day while I am at work haha.
