It's another shooter but it's not quite what you'd expect…

Developer Streum On Studio has revealed their interstellar FPS, Space Hulk: Deathwing . As reported over at the PlayStation Blog , the game will land on the PlayStation 4 next year.

Set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, Deathwing has players raiding derelict spaceships and fighting off any alien nasties that happen to be on board. Developer Full Control created a more strategic iteration of the Space Hulk franchise last year, but that production was only available on PC and mobile platforms. Streum On Studio's project is a fast-paced shooter, so there's definitely a significant difference.

Personally, I think it sounds like a badly named comic book, but what do I know?

Space Hulk was a board game set in the 40k universe as far back as 89 and the deathwing are the 1rst company of the Dark Angels chapter, made up entirely of Terminators. They also have the Ravenwing which is nothing but bikes, while all the other companies are a balance of all their unit types.

As far the game is concerned I welcome anything 40k as long as it's polished and fun, but I just wish they'd let us play as one of the evil factions for once.
