Do you love gadgets?

Then Activision has a great new Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare trailer for you. It goes behind-the-scenes and checks out the slickest high-tech gadgetry that will be on display in the upcoming title.

Sledgehammer Games co-founder Glen Schofield talks about all sorts of nifty futuristic stuff, such as a new Threat Detection grenade, which highlights enemies in the blast radius in red. Tagged enemies can show up even if they're hiding behind something. Then there's the remotely-synced blast shield, which is a barricade that pops up when you activate it. A window automatically goes down when you pop up to shoot, and then goes back up when you snap into cover.

And how can you have futuristic weapons without Directed Energy? These fire powerful beams of light that apparently do mass amounts of damage. Above all else, though, Schofield focuses on those bad-ass exoskeletons, which are definitely going to take center-stage in the game. Check it out:

From this video, it seems black ops 2 will still be my last cod game. I'm not a fan of this future tech. It seems to assist the player too much. A grenade that shows the enemy? really?
