If you can't wait for Destiny , you'd better own a PlayStation 4.
Sony is putting a lot of stock in Bungie's ambitious shared-world shooter; the game opened up Sony's E3 press conference last week, and they teased upcoming exclusive content for the PS3 and PS4 versions.
Now, we've got the details, as announced over at the PlayStation Blog : PlayStation fans will receive a multiplayer map, Strike mission, three sets of armor, two weapons and three spacecraft. The map is called Exodus Blue and is built for Control, which is basically Domination. Exodus Blue is a long-dead spaceship and now, Guardians challenge each other aboard the vessel.
Then there's the Monte Carlo assault rifle and Hawkmoon hand cannon, along with the Manifold Seeker armor (for Warlocks), Vanir armor (for Titans), and Argus armor (for Hunters). The spacecraft are: The Aurora Wake, the Crypt Hammer, and the Outrageous Fortune. Each have different traits; check out the info at the link above. Lastly, PlayStation fans will have access to a three-player co-op mission on Mars entitled "The Dust Palace Strike," which sounds like tons o' fun.
Destiny launches on September 9 and a beta test is slated for July 17.
Ugh…was really hoping this would have cross-platform play. Was wanting to game with the rest of you 🙂
it may come to PC eventually. bungie has said they wanted to bring it over.
in the meantime you can watch this video in all of it's epic majesty.

Buy a PS4?
Thanks for the link Temjin!
Max, I don't play FPS on consoles. Never have and never will.
Pretty cool little bonus but it's too bad there's no exclusive ground vehicle. One of the cooler aspects were those star wars type hoverbikes.
The vehicles just scream star wars. I don't know how to refer to the hoverbikes other than speeders… Or hoverbikes… I guess.
there's lots of original trilogy based Star Wars influence to much of it's art design. it's like they knew what the coolest aspects of star wars engineering were and distilled it out into Destiny.
just don't get it in your head that as you're waiting for a level to load the spaceship that you're looking at looks like binoculars split by a triangle. yah, I see it every time now =p

Dude by far one of my favorite things to do in this game is cruising around on the hover bike! (Sparrow).
It SOUNDS like a speeder from Star Wars, and the controls are just so slick. There is even a part of the game where you speed through this big canyon and it is so Tattooine esq.
Damn you Temjin!
the Alpha reminds me of Knights of the Old Republic mixed with Halo
Greatest ALpha I ever played. Just an awesome game.
I can honestly say there has never been so much mutual (my sons and I) excitement for one game since the three of us began gaming together.
3 copies of PS4 version Destiny are reserved!!
