As we learned during Sony's E3 conference, the acclaimed and hugely popular Grand Theft Auto V is going next-gen.
It will be available later this year for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC and it'll supposedly take "full advantage" of the added power. This according to the latest post at the Rockstar Newswire website .
Rockstar is working hard to implement "across-the-board graphical and technical improvements," which will ultimately deliver "a stunning new level of detail." Players will appreciate increased draw distances, better textures, denser traffic and enhanced resolution, along with new wildlife, and upgraded weather and damage effects. In short, it should be a technical tour de force amped up to the power of 11, and that's exactly what gamers want.
Furthermore, it has been confirmed that all content released thus far for Grand Theft Auto Online will be available on PS4, Xbox One and PC. You can also transfer your online characters from the older consoles to the new ones, and your save files for the GTAV story will carry over as well.
If you never played (or didn't finish) GTAV on the PS3 or 360, well, just be patient and play the definitive version this fall!
