Wanna take an educated guess? How's about a shot in the dark?

As several sources are reporting, there's a huge poster for Assassin's Creed: Unity covering one of the outside walls of the Los Angeles Convention Center. Yep, the site of this week's E3.

Now, that poster appears to present four different assassins, although it remains in question if we've seen any of them before. Previous reports said the new entry would boast four-player co-op, so that could be the answer; then again, maybe we'll actually play as four different characters in the campaign. As multiplayer seems to be the only thing people care about these days, though, I'm leaning toward the co-op explanation.

Unity is expected to launch this holiday season for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, and the new setting is the French Revolution. It should be able to take full advantage of the power of the next-gen consoles, and I'm psyched to check it out!

I know it's popular but even so am I the only one who rolls my eyes every time a new one is announced? It's like c'mon man, have you no shame?

Really why should they be shameful? AC is a great game that has proved itself time and time again. Im really having a hard time figuring out what kind of games you like beside FF, which that game has been shit for a long time. Anyhow your lost, i say keep the great games coming ubi!

Nope, because a new one is expected every year, so it doesn't make sense to roll my eyes.

BigBoss,
World's a fan of games that aren't great, but have good ideas behind them, like Two Worlds.

I actually like the great ones too, but it's not about what I like I'm just saying for example everybody respects Rockstar for taking their time to put their all into each game to make it a big leap forward from the last one.

I know full well that AC has maintained good quality and made advancements but in general if rare appearances of a great franchise are the ideal then it logically follows that there's something demeaning of the property done by its over-saturation of the market. A commonplace thing is not greatly marked for enthusiasm. The public eventually says "Geez another one of those?"

To expand on that point, a game like GTA, although I hate the series out of personal preference and not out of opinion of quality, WILL last a long… LONG time. That series may very well always be around.

I'm willing to bet, though, that Assassin's Creed will not. The over saturation will eventually kill the series just like Guitar Hero is now dead and how CoD is now on the decline. I even feel it myself. I'm on record saying AC was my favorite franchise of the generation, but even I haven't played AC4 yet.

Am I the only one who does it with CoD then too?

No, you're definitely not the only one wit CoD, unless there's zombies in it… Then yes, you're definitely the only one again.

Yeah, it's co-op. I'm basing that on the subtitle, as much as this poster. Interested in it, but I'll keep in my habit of waiting until it drops to a price no greater than $40.

Edit: I do like that poster 🙂

co-op meh. im more interested on if ubisoft is FINALLY going to put a end to the story and teasing set from AC2.
one thing that has really pissed me off since ACB really, each game has added more questions, alluded to plenty of things, gave winks left right and centre. but still has not closed a single knot!
so stupid how they setup black flag, your forced to hack a PC and find a video slightly detailing the events of ACIII and what happened to desmond.
so you get excited about it and think your FINALLY going to get some answers, hack all the PCs to find JACK!
sigh.
seriously thinking about whether i will buy it this year, im just sick of having the same meal being stretched out year after year after year after year after year!
its about f*cking time ubisoft took some initiative, closed off the arcs set out by AC2, and started fresh!
like what bioware is doing with ME, instead of draging it on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!

Got done with my dreaded math final and now I'm watching the new AC Unity gameplay trailer. Hot dang. It looks nice. Times like this makes me happy I'm a fan of the series. Pretty sure this will be a D1P for me.

It would be cool to have multilayer co-op, but I don't want it interfering with my campaign!
