If you're currently considering a Minecraft purchase, there's a good reason to wait for the PlayStation 4 version.

You may not see a huge visual upgrade (that's really not Minecraft 's focus), but you will get bigger virtual worlds.

According to what developer 4J Studios said on Twitter , the PS4 and Xbox One versions of Minecraft will be "a lot bigger" than what we see in the PS3 and 360 versions. Given the extra power of the new consoles, this shouldn't be too surprising, although many will claim this is a game best played on PC. That's a legitimate argument, although we should remember that Minecraft has been #1 on the PSN digital sales list for several months running.

Not my thing but obviously, a lot of people love it.

Ben, you need to play it to appreciate it, You need to sink in a couple of hours in the double digits and then you will understand. It's an accomplish by progress kind of game. I used to be just like you and many others. The more you play the better you understand why it's worthy.
