If you want to expand upon the chilling experience that is Outlast , circle May 6 on the calendar.
That's when the Whistleblower downloadable content arrives for the acclaimed survival/horror title. PlayStation 4 owners have really appreciated this nod to old-school horror, so many should embrace this expansion.
Whistleblower gives players a peek at the events leading up to the main story, and developer Red Barrels says this adds a totally new chapter to the plot. It does still take place within the horrifying Mount Massive Asylum, though, so you should be familiar with the environment. This DLC will debut for $8.99 and it'll be available on the PSN and Steam. For more, check out the Red Barrels website , and see the trailer below.

Kind of split on getting this or not :/
I will be getting this no dought about it..
I'll be purchasing this. I really enjoyed outlast, and since it was free with PS plus I won't have a problem buying this portion.
pass.
i played more than my fair share as hide and go seek when i was a kid, so i need a little more than that kindergarten school mechanics in my games thank you very much!
this is exactly why people are so disappointed that the ps4 is getting only indie titles ATM, yea there always the most creative, but there also always the most simplistic, basic, repetitive and boring!
you need to elaborate complexity of a AAA big budget blockbuster to balance out the creative simplicity of indie titles, and without that your really left wanting.
Its more then hide and seek, its what survival horror should be not the rubbish that RE turned into and deadspace ect ect.. but not everyone can appreciate true survival horror like this game.. maybe you should go back and play CoD and other generic crap…..
