Okay, so you have to wait longer. But you get to see a new trailer!

A new UK trailer for the anticipated new Mad Max game revealed that Avalanche Studios wouldn't be done until 2015. The game was originally expected to launch some time this year.

And just to be clear, although the North American version of that trailer didn't show a date, publisher Warner Bros. confirmed to GameSpot that Mad Max is indeed slated for 2015. They didn't say why the game was pushed back but perhaps a general "quality issue" was the culprit.

As for the new trailer, it's called Magnum Opus, which is the name of Max's car in the game. Legendary custom shop West Coast Customs is building the car for real and it'll be unveiled this Sunday on West Coast Customs at 7 p.m. PDT.

I'm sorry to be so blunt but who really cares about this game? The property was never truly reintroduced so anyone younger than me (an old fart) doesn't even know who Mad Max is. Hopefully this will be more Wasteland than just a rebranded Tomb Raider (which made a great comeback).

The new Mad Max movie is coming out next year, so that may spike interest in the game, so long as the two don't release too near each other and have people thinking that this is a tie-in. There's the reintroduction.

Actually looks great for vehicle combat fanatics, I just wonder if the Mad Max name can actually command any sales. It could even work against it since it won't be accompanied by the usual excitement over a totally new intellectual property.

Ok I think this was delayed cause consumers wanted australian voices instead of american voices.Ok I'm more convinced 2014 will have no great games after E3.

What are you basing that prediction on? Dragon Age 3, Alien Isolation, Arkham Knight, AC: Unity, Project CARS. All of them are confirmed for 2014; surely at least a couple of them will be good.

Rumor of Arkham Knight being pushed to 2015 is there,AC Unity – let's see if this the first AC where the gameplay is actually good as the looks.
Alien Isolation I need a demo.I dont care about Dragon Age.

While I honestly have zero interest in this game, I can't help but to question the quality of it…
It honestly looks rather mediocre and repetitive.

Hopefully I'm proved wrong, and that this turns into a nice addition to the PlayStation family if exclusives.
Until I get my hands on it though, I'll remain skeptical.

not exactly surprising.
announced at E3 last year and since then we have seen 2 trailers!
one at the announcement with a live gameplay demo, than this trailer, thats it to show for a full years worth of work!
even when the devs came down for the EB expo last october they were still showing off the same demo they brought to E3.
so im glad this was delayed certainly seemed like it needed allot more time so its nice to see its getting it.
shame were loosing another game out of the already really thin 2014 lineup though.
also there goes the chances of seeing just cause 3 this year!
