Lords of the Fallen appears to be a very promising medieval action game.
But once again, it may also be another third-party multiplatform title that's best experienced on PlayStation 4.
Executive Producer Tomasz Gop told IGN that while the team is aiming for full 1080p high-definition on both consoles, the results have thus far been better on Sony's machine:
"We're working very hard right now to deliver PS4 and Xbox One in 1080p but I can't confirm whether it's possible. It's probably easier for me to confirm it'll happen for PlayStation 4, because it appears on this one we're almost nailing it and pretty much there. For Xbox One though, it’s slightly tougher and we’re still working on it, so I can't confirm that yet."
Gop added that he wants to hit at least 30 frames per seconds for the game, although he clarified that it'd be preferable to have a steady FPS rather than a fluctuating one. In other words, he wants full HD and a rock sold 30FPS rather than striving for 60FPS. That's probably not a bad idea from a design standpoint.
As for the game itself, it was revealed a few months ago and it does look pretty entertaining. To refresh your memory, here's that debut gameplay video:
