What were the best-selling digital games on the PSN in March?

Sony has released the lists of the most popular titles on each platform, and they're not overly surprising.

For the PlayStation 4, inFamous: Second Son topped the list, while Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes was the runner-up. On the PS3, it was Minecraft taking the #1 slot, with South Park: The Stick of Truth and Ground Zeroes rounding out the top 3. On the Vita, Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster was the top digital title for March, followed by Need for Speed: Most Wanted . Notably, the Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster also came in at #7 on the PS3 list, behind heavy hitters like Grand Theft Auto V and Dark Souls II .

Here are the digital sales charts for the PS4, PS3 and Vita:

PlayStation 4

PlayStation 3

PlayStation Vita

I guess 7 isn't bad considering those giant games and the Minecraft cultural fad. I still want actual numbers dammit.

Interesting to see suddent interest in inFamous 2: Festival of Blood. I loved that episode and it's cool to see that Second Son has invigorated the series a bit.

Not sure Minecraft can be considered at fad at this point, it is a legit game, albeit a bit different from most "games".
I was hopping FFX HD would do better then this thou, hopefully it will keep selling strong for a while 🙂

It's legit and popular, but interest in it will fade over the years and eventually people will remember it as the equivalent of the Macarena or Cupid Shuffle

I mean no disrespect and think the World of you 😉
But the Minicraft players who get what the game is about, and like it, rarely ever leave it.
The fact that it can beat CoD in online players on Xbox Live should tell you something.
I agree it is not for everyone, but once you're hooked you're usually in for good and the only limit to the game, is your own imagination and intelligence.

I'm still playing FFX. Haven't even started on X-2 yet. I encourage anyone that enjoys games to get the remaster. NOW.

I got myself stuck on a Seymour fight until I grind, which I don't have time for right now but I'll make it eventually.

Which fight? I've missed the gameplay so much all the boss fights were rather easy for me (until the monster arena) thanks to all the grinding I did. I'm currently working on collecting a ton of dark matter.

I'm guessing flux, that's probably the hardest Seymour fight (honestly one of the toughest in the game if you're not overleveled or following a guide).

Arena creations have actually been incredibly easy for me this time around, probably from all the farming I did before challenging any of them aside from Kottos.

Remember to kill the undead queen boss later in the game with life spells and phoenix downs =p

Whichever one is on Mt. Gagazet. I figured I was so brilliant now versus in 2001 that I could strategize right through it as I did with the other bosses, but he just kills people in one hit so it's impossible.

Want real numbers….

As far as hard copy sales, if you combine FFX/FFX-2 on both PS3 and Vita, as well as combine the standalone titles in Japan, you've got 1.4 million sales (as of March 29). I wonder how many more were bought digitally?

In addition to that, that outsells Lightning Returns hard copy sales by a whole half million.

haha you're welcome.

The poor grammar I had there didn't portray that I meant to say, "I want real numbers" in regards to the digital sales.

But at least we have a ball-park idea of physical copy sales. LR selling 66% of what a remake did…. yikes.
