This is an episode gamers shouldn't miss!

The next-gen console war will step into the limelight during tonight's new episode of "The Big Bang Theory." Entitled The Indecision Amalgamation, Sheldon will face what is quite possibly his toughest task yet:

Deciding between the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

You can check out the video preview over at DualShockers (just bear in mind that it has been blocked for users outside the US). We have no idea which console Sheldon will ultimately choose, but if you want to find out, tune in at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS. It's bound to be wildly entertaining, especially if you're an avid gamer.

Gaming has been a common theme in "The Big Bang Theory" over the years, but I think this is the first one where video game consoles constituted the central theme of the story. I can't wait to see it!

I've only seen them play Xbox in the show. I imagine that will not change. It's great for gaming though and I'm sure the theme of this episode will make it very entertaining.

They also have a Wii, and there was a episode where they talked about doing a retro game night.

There's an episode where Sheldon gets an N64 shipped from his mother. So he asks if Leonard wants to play Mario Party.

I guessing the show will fade out or something will happen just as he makes a decision.

Proof Sheldon is not a genius afterall.

Choice is PS4. Simple.

I'm not from the US, but I'm pretty sure most gamers do not have Asperger's Syndrome. ;p

Are you from North Korea?

They way you talk sounds exactly like their ignorant anti-American propaganda.

Not likely with a name like "Japanese Gamer". I don't really know the whole history, but Koreans, for one reason or another, really dislike Japan. So much so that they don't even really buy Sony products. PC gaming is big in South Korea. No one really gets consoles.

simplest choice you will ever have to make!
neither, save the 300+ bucks and put it towards a short holiday.
not really going to get much of a holiday for $300 bucks or so, but eh much better spend of money to go away for a weekend than buy something your not going to have something to use for it for another 6+ months!

Variation.

Leave the money in savings accruing a pittance (but still something) interest then buy the console of desire when there are a few games you want in 6+ months time. that is what I am doing.

I reckon I'll have a PS4 towards Christmas time when something like DriveClub and a few other big titles are out. Until then I am satisfied with my PS3.

As mentioned further up the posts, I think he will leave without either, or possibly with both. I don't expect him to choose one.

I'm a big fan of the show, but so far I've only seen them played Wii or 360 games, even though they mentioned they have all consoles that included PS3. But I think in one of the flashback, Howard has a PS2 in his bedroom. Anyway, I will keep supporting the show regardless which one he pick, but hopefully he will made the right choice, and if he's as smart as he think he is, he will choose PS4 ūüôā

Show looks too terrible for me to watch.

I hope Sheldon's inability to choose is so emotionally devastating that he kills himself, thus ending this horrible sitcom once and for all.

I really enjoy the show and think the positive side of bringing people coming together shows well…although still it demonstrates it as very stereotypical.

Nerds who love to play video games.
Hot chick who thinks its for kids.

Since Charlie quit 2 1/2 Men (which was getting stale anyhow) this is the funniest show on TV.

it's all about the ad that's all it is ,remember it's a show and from watching the episode you will see that they all had a certain chunk of exposure in the episode. the scrip worked well with the story and current gen and next gen forums/ console wars that people/gamers get all hyped up about for some reason or another .
