Ben-DutkaLast week, rumors regarding a PlayStation 4 iteration of The Last Of Us spread across the Internet.
For instance, it seems a Sony representative leaked the information to a European website. Now, we've got more evidence:
Check out Spanish retailer XtraLife . As you can see, they're letting customers pre-order a PS4 version of Naughty Dog's masterful title. It's called the "Complete Edition" and it comes with the recently released Left Behind DLC and a cool backpack, too! We may not get that backpack, but it's still a pretty solid indication, wouldn't you say?
And remember, PlayStation Turkey VP Sercan Sulun said the PS4 version of TLoU would be available physically and digitally, so you can grab it either way. Now all we need is for Sony to officially confirm this bad boy's existence!

XBox aint the only sinking ship. So is Sonys. all sony seems to care about is indie designers at the moment. Besides infamous second son name me a worthwhile AAA game. Dont say Killzone Shadowfall or that joke of a Metal Gear Solid game that can be beat in one day.
Have you ever bought a console at launch before, V2? Lack of compelling titles for months is par for the course. Look forward.
LOL So, Sony is a "sinking ship" within five months of a new generation, during which time they sold 7 million PS4 units, 2 million more than their internal goal for the fiscal period, and possibly 3 million more than the competition…?
Not to mention the fact that NO console has a ton of AAA games in the first five months of its existence.
What the hell's wrong with Killzone Shadowfall? I liked it a lot and still play the MP from time to time. This was the first title I bought on the PS4 (BF4 and COD Ghosts were digital upgrades) and the game is gorgeous – really showed off the PS4's graphical capabilities.
Killzone Shadowfall was the best title in the series for me personally.
What I don't understand is how people actually believe Sony has not been profitable the past 10 years. (You hear it all over the internet for some strange reason just because as a standalone company, they post losses)
The corporation continues to sport an even share price and continues to pay out dividends. Their royalties and subsidiaries are extremely profitable.

So you're saying that I'll probably be rebuying and replaying TLoU. 😉 This is EXCELLENT news for new PlayStation fans and yet another motivator to buy a PS4 for Xbots and PC-only snobs who've wanted to play TLoU.

just because theres preorders up for a game does not mean squat!
game had preorders open for months for splinter cell conviction coming to ps3, how did that end out?
they also made the same mistake with metro 2033.
really dont see the point of bringing TLoU over to ps4.
firstly the game was so amazing and successful because of its experience, and because of its amazing success come on who hasnt played it yet?
secondly ND already have enough on their plates with uncharted, some of their big lead developers leaving, the final piece of MP DLC, and the inevitable sequel.
i really hope the rumors of ND being glued back into one team are true for now though, especially since this is their first ps4 game, not to mention they will want to get it out as quickly as possible.
$onys going to be putting the blowtorch under them to get this out of the door, and the last thing you want is disappointing, rushed, unfinished, watered down, spoiled, infamous buggy rushed son!
Why would you want ND to become one team again? Means half as many ND games to enjoy.
Is anyone seriously going to say that Uncharted 3 and The Last of Us were not worthy additions to the ND collection?
more people on the project make sure its up to the standards it should be, then they can split into two teams once its done and dusted.
You do realize they didn't simply just break everyone up. There was internal growth… new staff.

you aint the only dude i want new IPs. then again i wouldn't mind games like
L.A Noire and HeavyRain to be rereleased on the Ps4. Now excuse me i need to go change my pants.
Remember the PS3's first year? Terrible. The PS2 had a LOAD of scrutiny for it's small number of good titles in it's first year. Turned out to sell 160+ million consoles. PS1's start had them advertising on infomercials trying to sell the thing. PSP's first year or two was weak…

Bound to happen, I don't mind. I think it would be a fantastic game to have upscaled to 1080p. Though I doubt it is a release I will buy until years later as I am still content with my PS3 version.
The price is a determining factor if it does exist..not willing to spend to much for a game that i already have. Can't imagine how this bad boy will look on ps4
