You should expect great things from inFamous: Second Son .
But there are two things you shouldn't expect:
A demo and user-generated content. Although players could flex their creative muscle in the last entry, Sucker Punch co-founder and Second Son producer Brian Fleming says this feature won't be included in the new entry on PlayStation 4.
As he said over at the PlayStation Blog :
"[User-generated content] is not a part of this title. It was part of Infamous 2, but not a part of Second Son."
This shouldn't disappoint too many people, though, because the user-generated content didn't exactly take off in inFamous 2 . Design Director Chris Zimmerman said at GDC last year (via Game Informer ) that of all inFamous 2 players, only about 5 percent published a personally made level. So really, are we gonna miss it in Second Son ?
Also, Fleming confirmed that there are no plans to offer a playable demo for the new title. At least, not before the game is scheduled to land on March 21, which isn't far off now. No matter, though; who needs a demo? We know we want it!
