Can't wait for this one!
Today, developer BioWare released a brand new trailer for their very first next-gen game: Dragon Age: Inquisition .
The two-minute video shows off some beautiful locations, along with fearsome foes and the various factions you will encounter during your epic adventure.
In a blog post , producer Cameron Lee spoke about the amount of effort required for such a production:
"Dragon Age: Inquisition is BioWare's first next-gen game. It's also our most ambitious game to date. Nowhere is this more visible than in the incredible size and diversity of locations, life, and hidden places you’ll discover on your journey."
Lee further cited the game's special "emergent" system, which creates specific scenarios that depend on the player's previous actions and decisions. We'll also get "incredible graphics systems" that will feature dynamic weather effects (such as naturally formed puddles) and other details that will "blow your mind." This is undoubtedly the most realistic-looking game BioWare has ever produced, and that's exciting.
Dragon Age: Inquisition is headed to the PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, although we don't know which platform the team used for this footage.

Not mind blowing, but looks great. I'm not expecting much visually from cross gen games anyway.
Yeah, I agree. Looking forward to several years from now when no longer are games being made for such out of date tech.
Still more excited for The Witcher 3 than this game.
However I am actually considering playing this now when before it was going to be a pass.
It does look pretty good graphically, except for the stop motion dancers at 1:30 😛
Witcher3 is going to blow everyone away.
Except for three people apparently.
I'm real excited about this game. I love the franchise and still count the first DA:O as one of last gens best despite the terrible frame rate on PS3.I hope this game goes back to its roots.
Getting it.
I'd like to see footage that I know is on the ps3.
Otherwise this looks great.
Meh, show me some gameplay…

Wow! Thanks for sharing, I'm about 10 minutes into the video and it looks rather impressive.
Wow… That looked flat out awesome. Oh man can't wait.
It's last gen though isn't it?
I tried to pre-order today, but they don't take them yet.
I'm liking the look of it, but I'm thinking that it probably was done on a PC.
BTW, All the "Best Of Luck" to Jack Tretton who's leaving after 19 years in the PlayStation Nation.
Hopefully he'll stay in the gaming industry & either take over EA, Antivision, or Square Enix, as we all know all 3 of them could use a much better guidance.

This trailer didn't really do anything for me, but I plan to pick up 'Inquisition' on day one just out of my love for the series.
Well, I guess I'm in now that I know it is coming to the PS3. This still wouldn't be enough to justify a PS4.
OT for a sec….
Not sure who still needs or wants them but there's a "Need for Speed" sale going on right now on the PSN for both, the PS3 & PS Vita.
For example, NFS Most Wanted, NFS Carbon, NFS The Run, only $5 each.
I just picked up NFS Most Wanted myself.
I like parts of the artistic direction of the game, but other than that, I'm not really wowed by that trailer.
Check out the gameplay link sirbob6 posted below my comment.
I watched about five minutes of it. Looked pretty good. Still need to get to the earlier parts of the series, though.
What's always been most interesting about the BioWare games is the characters. That's what I'm most interested in hearing more about.
