Okay, so the prelude isn't very long. It's not supposed to be.
But the main game is going to be massive . At least, that's the impression we're all getting from boss man Hideo Kojima, who told IGN that The Phantom Pain might actually be too big for players to completely clear.
Believe it or not, Kojima says the main game is "more than 200x bigger than Ground Zeroes " and even though he can't give us an exact mission count, he said they'll have "lots." Well, that stands to reason. Concerning Ground Zeroes , he said:
"It’s not about clearing the story, it’s not about clearing the mission. It's about discovering new elements, new routes, new ways to play."
But can The Phantom Pain really be that big? As big as an Elder Scrolls game? As big as The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is going to be? Or, if we're not talking about world size and simply the number of missions involved, exactly how long and involved is each mission? Yeah, we've got questions…
